Like the headphones, this speaker was modeled in Maya and finished in 3ds Max. The most challenging part was figuring out how to model the holes for the grill. In the initial version I just used an opacity map, but you could tell from certain angles that the geometry had no thickness. So after asking around in forums I found a method to model them without spending too much time or making the mesh too dense.
Rendered in Keyshot and the rest is done in Photoshop.
